What is Acupuncture?

Acupuncture is the method of mobilizing the body’s energetic system to stimulate self-healing. The gentle insertion of fine needles into certain areas of the skin allows for direct communication into the body’s inner energy pathways. Acupuncture needles function to stimulate energy molecules (QI), blood, lymphatic fluid, and chemicals such as endorphins to flow to specific areas of the body need nurturing. The human body is a miraculous and intricate system of functions and is equally amazing in its ability to self- heal, given the chance.
